We are seeking a reliable *On-Call Cleaner* to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond to cleaning requests on short notice.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning experience *preferred* (residential or commercial)
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift light-to-medium items (e.g., cleaning supplies)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- 45 years of age and below
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas including *offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, hallways, and floors*
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and/or scrub floors as needed
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, countertops, light switches)
- Empty trash bins and replace liners; remove waste to designated areas
- Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, urinals) using approved products
- Refill paper products and consumables (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper) as needed
- Dust and wipe surfaces (tables, desks, shelves, baseboards, vents as assigned)
- Follow established safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Report supplies needs, damages, and maintenance concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and storage areas
- Follow all company policies, including confidentiality and workplace conduct
Safety & Compliance:
- Must follow label directions and safety guidelines for all cleaning products
- Use PPE when required (gloves, masks, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety rules
Preferred Skills:
- Time-management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and disinfecting standards
- Experience with floor care equipment (e.g., buffers, scrubbers) *if applicable*
