Description

Highly skilled and versatile MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Maintenance Technician with specific expertise in HVAC/AC systems, electrical installations, and fire safety systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair of all MEP utilities within our hotel and residential properties. Your work will directly ensure guest comfort, resident safety, and uninterrupted facility operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on MEP maintenance experience, specifically within UAE hotels, resorts, or residential buildings.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, 3-phase wiring, HVAC refrigeration cycles, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, plumbing layouts, and MEP schematic drawings.
  • Emergency Awareness: Calm under pressure with a solid understanding of fire safety protocols and emergency isolation valves/switches.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to work in confined spaces (like ceiling voids or plant rooms), climb ladders, and work comfortably in warm weather conditions.

  • Salary Range: AED 3,000 – AED 3,750 per month (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

  • HVAC & AC Maintenance: Troubleshoot, service, and repair split units, FCUs (Fan Coil Units), AHUs (Air Handling Units), and package AC systems. Clean filters, check gas levels, fix compressor faults, and resolve water leakages.
  • Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, DB (Distribution Board) panels, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, and sockets. Ensure all wiring complies with safety regulations.
  • Fire & Life Safety Systems: Perform routine testing and minor maintenance on fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and fire fighting pump systems. Coordinate with civil defense inspectors when necessary.
  • Plumbing & Mechanical: Troubleshoot water booster pumps, transfer pumps, water heaters, and main drainage lines to prevent utility downtime.
  • Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute daily, weekly, and monthly PPM schedules for all MEP equipment to maximize lifecycle and energy efficiency.
  • Emergency Response: Respond instantly to urgent utility failures, power outages, AC breakdowns, or fire alarm triggers in guest rooms or residential units.
